9/7-9/13

This week I did my first research assessment. From this assessment, I learned how to write an assessment with citations and reading an article that is peer-reviewed. From doing this for the first time, I learned that I am indecisive when it comes to choosing an article so for next week I want to decide on an article ahead of time may be at the beginning of the week or even on Sunday. Doing the research assessment was very helpful for and broaden my view and perspective on my topic, data science. At the end of writing my assessment, I was able to understand data science more and the importance of it in the world but I ended up more curious and interested in data science. This week I also worked on my rough-draft resume which was very informational for me as I never knew how to write a resume before that was strategic. Doing the choice board and doing the rough draft, I learned the importance of highlighting your skills and making it visually pleasing. Last week, I wanted to be successful in being productive and I was able to do that task halfway through. Next week, my goal is to be proactive and productive throughout the week and weekend so I can soak in every moment of this process and the journey I am in. Also, I hope to find an article that is engaging and will allow me to broaden my learning of my topic at the end of it.
