It’s Mentor Time!

This is the first week of school in the new year and I still haven't found a mentor. The last few weeks I focused on my original work so this week and on my objective is to find a mentor as it is getting too late. I had originally interviewed four potential mentors but sadly none of the mentors are emailing me back. This is very discouraging for me but I realize that I need to move forward and to have a different strategy to solve this problem.

To successfully find a mentor, I will be actively seeking new potential mentors I can interview through linkedIn. I will continue to find new people and connect with them to hopefully get an interview. In addition, as I was talking to one of my classmates she mentioned that she found her mentor through websites like Glassdoor. This was a unique way to find mentors but I will give it a try because I have nothing to lose and can lead me to find a mentor. I will also reach out to the people I have already talked to or emailed and email them again to try to get a response. This process is very tedious but I hope the end result is what I hope it is. My ISM journey so far has been amazing, insightful, and sometimes uncomfortable but I know these are the experiences that will help in my future endowments.
