Didn’t go as planned!

This week I was not able to do anything because of the power outages in Texas. Because of the weather and circumstances, I wasn’t able to meet any of the objectives and goals I wanted. After getting power back on Thursday, I was able to complete the ISM blog and that is the only thing I was able to do related to ISM.

However, this week the weather is looking better. My objective is to hopefully have my mentor approved, touch base with my mentor, and hopefully have the first meeting with him.This was my objective last week but obviously that didn’t happen. Till my mentor gets approved and I am able to have a meeting with him, I want to start making a plan and coming up with ideas for my final product. In addition, I want to make it a goal to work on my research paper throughout the week so I do not feel stressed on Friday night in a hurry to finish it. I am excited to start the next chapter of this journey because it was hard to persevere in this struggle of finding a mentor. This process was very tedious but I hope the end result is what I hope it is. My ISM journey so far has been amazing, insightful, and sometimes uncomfortable but I know these are the experiences that will help in my future endowments.
