Approved!!

During spring break, I worked on my final product for the majority of the week. The week before my mentor got approved which lifted a lot of my stress and anxiety. However, I also realized that I only have a month to complete the final product. So even if one stressor was removed, I feel like another stressor was added. My goal was to get an appointment with my mentor this week but unfortunately I was not able to get a meeting with him. However, I continued to learn python that is related toward data visualization that will help me in the future of me creating my visualization.

My objective for this upcoming week is touch base with my mentor, and hopefully have the first meeting with him. This was my objective last week and I hope this week he gets approved. Till my mentor gets approved and I am able to have a meeting with him, I want to work on planning of how I want my visualization to look like, what graphs I will use to showcase the data, and learn the coding language more to have a good foundation of this language so I can create the best data visualization I can. In addition, I want to make it a goal to work on my research paper throughout the week so I do not feel stressed on Friday night in a hurry to finish it. I am excited to start the next chapter of this journey because it was hard to persevere in this struggle of finding a mentor. This process was very tedious but I hope the end result is what I hope it is. My ISM journey so far has been amazing, insightful, and sometimes uncomfortable but I know these are the experiences that will help in my future endowments.
